Brand Creation
The Foam Company were looking to add an elevated proposition to their own-label portfolio – something that would capitalise on growing health-conscious consumer demand for high-quality sleep.
With an exhibition stand booked and deadlines tight, we were commissioned to build this brand quickly from the ground up. The brief required name generation, positioning and articulation of the core product benefits for both consumers and their key retailer base.
The word Sonlevo was formed using the Italian prefix, from the root “Sonno” which translates to sleep, combined with the latin suffix raise, lift up or support.

Two collections of mattress required product branding and CGI room setting shots to bring each to life. AVID DUO and AVID demanded individual signatures to give the names optimum standout.
The new responsive Sonlevo website was given a clean, intuitive feel and lots of space to promote multiple calls to action.
We created sales literature using specially commissioned CGI imagery interspersed with carefully crafted copy.
Key to supporting the overall sales campaign were customer-personas, which helped to generate customer-focussed messages and a strong set of benefit symbols.
We created all the graphic panels for the Sonlevo stand at the Telford Bed Show. This involved large scale graphics, free-standing totems and point-of-sale collateral.

During eight weeks from inception to final production, we polished copy, created the product brand styling and developed exhibition graphics, a refined monogram and lifestyle photography. A sales brochure and various point-of-sale components were also produced to support the product launch. Over thirty-five retailers signed-up to stock the new Sonlevo range immediately after the successful show.
