John Lewis of Hungerford commissioned us to capture the passion and discover why John Lewis started his business in our beautiful film “Standing the Test of Time”. Watch the enchanting story and hear from John Lewis, in his own words, on what makes them so different today.

The story behind the story

Following a plan to ask specific questions, to guide the conversations; interviews with both the founder, staff and clients were undertaken to collect a rich assortment of beautiful soundbites and key messages. Additional footage was filmed on location around John’s home, helping to wrap the story in a very warm, tactile, and family-orientated effect. We had key brand messages we neede to highlight and editted our footage accordingly, brought to life with a subtle soundtrack and skillful editting. The short film is being used in the current brand initiative on their website and across online channels. Their social media platforms are using short ‘chapters’ from the main story to provide digestable content.
